Disqualified for not taking salary from son, Nawaz Sharif reiterates

LONDON (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif reacted on Wednesday to “good to see you” comments.

Taking to Twitter Mr Sharif lamented, "Those who convicted us are welcoming the man who plundered Rs60 billion. Who will consider such justice?"

He said, "I was put behind bars for not taking salary [consisting of dirhams] from my son".

On the other hand, a day after Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial had to explain his 'good to see you' remark he used while hearing PTI leader Imran Khan's case, the cordial words seem to have gone viral as they echoed in the Islamabad High Court on Wednesday.

As the Islamabad IGP appeared in the Islamabad High Court in connection with hearing of a case filed by PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry against his arrest, Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb addressed him and said, “Mr IG! Good to see you.” Everyone in the court room burst into laughter over the cordial remark by the judge.
